Front Porch Review
standing on this wind planted spot,
here a universe, holding memories
rings upon rings
of music, a catalog
unfolding its one song ̶
Antoni Ooto, while picking up fallen branches on his rural Chestnut orchard in upstate New York, imagines and still looks for answers through nature. Mornings he finds pleasure in reading the works of many poets such as WS Merwin, Jane Kenyon, Donald Hall, Elizabeth Bishop, Hayden Carruth, and the humor of James Tate.
Antoni is a poet and flash fiction writer who after many years as an abstract expressionist painter, has found another life in poetry. He eventually began writing poems that now appear in noted publications such as Front Porch Review, Amethyst Review, The Ginger Collect, Soft Cartel, The BeZine and many journals and anthologies. He works in upstate New York with his wife poet, storyteller Judy DeCroce.
