Glen Philips, Front Porch Review

Glen Phillips died this week and as we mourn his loss, we take comfort in his love of being the editor and founder of this digital magazine. My father loved literature; each word was examined for its use,  each sentence was celebrated for its authenticity, and short stories were valued for their ability to express life’s causalities and curiosities.  Each of you were apart of this success; your contributions, submissions, and feedback energized and motivated him. Whenever people engaged with him in the shared value of literature in its many forms, he felt at home. Throughout his lifetime, his career was based on communication, using words to convey meaning. While he enjoyed his career and hosting numerous book discussion groups, he took particular pleasure in this magazine. Thank you for your readership and kinship with my dad.
